If a Minnesota Prosecutor’s Theory Has Holes in It, Step Through Them - Court TV

The State has the burden to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a defendant committed a crime. In order to do this, they have to be able to present a case that not only makes sense but also addresses all of the questions that the jury should have. If the State presents a theory with holes in it, the Defense should not only poke at those holes but step through them and widen them out.

Jack Rice appears on Court TV on March 11, 2022 with Court TV’s Julie Grant and Journalist Payne Lindsey to discuss the Tara Grinstead murder case and why the Prosecution may have some problems. While this case takes place in Georgia, Minnesota prosecutors have the same problem.
